Traipse: to go on foot : walk <traipsed over to the restaurant> <children traipsing at her heels> ; also : to walk or travel about without apparent plan but with or without a purpose <a week traipsing through the Ozarks> <traipsing from office to office>transitive verb, (Merriam-Webster)
Traipse is an OpenRPG distribution much like Fedora, Ubuntu, and openSUSE are distributions to the Linux kernel. Traipse is designed to be easy to use while offering superb functionality. Installation with Traipse is a breeze with Traipse Easy! Traipse uses OpenRPG because Traipse is OpenRPG, with a few minor tweaks to add a little where it is needed
Traipse is Open Source and here at Mad Mathematics Laboratories we encourage users to crack open the source and tinker around with it. With Traipse Easy all of the source code is created in a System folder that users can simply delete and then run setup if they break their install too far. Go ahead, break it open. It's fun!

A new Beta is in the Traipse Dev repo. I have been busy working on the next milestone. Be sure and click the Traipse logo up in the corner and look at OpenWorld and OpenCartographer. These are steps into the next milestone. Part of the benefit of how I am reworking the code is how I have seperated the UI from the core code. It's now really easy to reuse material.
Part of this whole next milestone work is how I am working on a greater Traipse Suite set of open tools. It will be a bit like Open Office. You will get all the tools you need to play on the table, and they will all integrate.
I removed the blog roll from the front page to keep it minimalistic. The data was old. The front page will be re-worked in the coming days.
