I just got out of a Dell chat with my twitter buddy Scott from Dell and him and his group where showing off a new Update software for servers. It was really cool too. The software allowed you to build your own update packages, so I thought that would be a nice feature to add.

It would work like this
pious-paladin - branch update (usually important updates will go here)
pp-upmana - Update Manager package update
pp-gametree - Update to gametree
etc...

I will test the idea out but not until Pious Paladin comes out.

P.S. Shout out to DELL. Thanks for the chat, very informative. Update Manager is GPL, btw, and the I do believe the current version that is sitting on my desk is a complete portable package ... no OpenRPG dependencies. If not, the goal is to make it that way. Feel free to grab a copy and dev it up!! Some of the work is already done. Plus, Mercurial is not that bad. Guido is making the move to Merc. /Shout Out
