GSoC 2009, project status:

- 09.VII.2009

TrueType fonts are now supported (they could be embed into PDF file). I'm waiting for my mentor's answer about new API.

There is lack of support for unicode characters. It is planned in near few days, but I'll also be working on text widget printing support.

Pdf package supports now unified way to create, write and measure text (the type1 fonts use tk). There is also basic writeTextBbox procedure.

Pdf package extended, now it is a separate package and is tored in pdf directory. "pdfFont create ttf ..." now searches font files in standard paths, and paths specified by the user.
