Introduction to the Milestones tool

Milestones are deliveries or dates that all of the team members will work to complete.

• Select 'New Milestone' from the sidebar to create a milestone
• Add tasks under the milestone
• When a task is done, just click on the checkbox to mark it finished.

Tasks and messages entered here will also appear in the list of Flow messages.

Milestones are also integrated with tickets, if you have a Tickets tool installed. The milestones that you enter here are used to organize your tickets into 'iterations' or 'releases'.

Use the import link in the sidebar to import milestones and to-do's from Basecamp. You can also export the milestones to Trac. So, This milestones tool is a little bit more complicated than Basecamp, because it is a bridge between two groups of users. Non-technical users can use simple tasks, and technical users can use tickets.
