    The site trakt.tv provides a comprehensive API to scrobble movie and TV shows. Scrobbled videos can then be used to track viewing habits, and recommendations can be returned based upon these.

    Videos are preferred to be scrobbled by imdb_id, tvdb_id, or tmdb_id. These will have to be stored in the database before trakt can be implemented.
