Mokonnect

About

Mokonnect is a project i started to provide an easy yet powerful to use connection manager for the openmoko neo freerunner.
It is based on connman and aimed at SHR distro.
The goals of the project are:

• Provide intuitive easy to use interface
• Provide all connectivity options under one application
• Provide advanced routing options from the gui
• Support profiles for every configuration type for faster selection later

Current State

Early development stages, currently has:

• Working GUI
• Saves state across restarts of application
• Can control Ethernet device, and configure it using DHCP and Static
• Can power on and off the wifi device as needed
• Profiles, creating, selecting and saving.
• Wifi connection to a visible or hidden network with dhcp or static.
• GPRS Beta device control
• NAT Routing can be configured.

Things to be done:

• Testing
• Wifi connection with static ip configuration
• Wifi connection to ad-hoc
• Bluetooth pan device control
