Agenda
- material for the chinese (photos of us, photos/video of uni. + explain. Here's a video of uni.: http://www1.itu.dk/sw130958.asp).
- what do we need for saturday?
- answer the questions we send them:
- Process and tools: What tools would you prefer to use for the project work and which process should we use? How are we going to structure the collaboration/process? Are we having contact on a daily basis aside from a weekly meeting or how are we going to go about it? Are we each going to take minutes? How are we going to share information etc.?
- Ideas for project: Brainstorm on how to make the campus greener using the BLIP system.
- Establish common ground for the project: How much time are we investing on a weekly basis and what are our expectations, so we are on the same page in regards to what we expect from the project. Do we have different focus for the project?
- what do we need from last time:
- try out the emulator
- update project in project base
- write down some stuff to discuss with the chinese
- total revision of stuff on the wiki and we've written.
Outcome
- Meet earlier on Saturday so we can take pictures of us and of the most important places in the building.
- We need: (minimum) the material and to answer the questions we have sent them.
- Process and tools:
- every time we have a meeting we think both sides should take minutes
- we should have a weekly meeting
- we want to use an Agile process
- look into Scrum: have a 5-minute (daily/every second/third day) Scrum meetings, have a Scrum report for every milestone?
- we suggest Assembla for information sharing, SVN, Scrum meetings, Tickets...
- our course plan: https://blog.itu.dk/KF12-F2010/course-plan-curriculum/
Common ground:
- process comes before the product
- we are supposed to invest 20h/week for this project including the classes
- having a good process: running product with less features, using the tools, overcome problems
- try to describe the product from all points of view
- when do you consider an iteration finished?
Ideas for project:
- encourage others to conserve => send cool messages with nice tips on how to make campus greener
- "living ITU" -- connect all computers to BLIP System. If a computer is idle for a period of time > than an established period => shut down automatically/ stand-by
- game to encourage people to help getting a greener campus
- turn off computers
- info messages
- turn off lights
- message with the temperature level(remember to set temperature to x)
- paper (print both sides), recycling
- close windows
