In the same browser session, when downloading the same file more than once using the same url or directly from the MyFiles table, for either a standard upload or file uploaded using a voucher, the download email notifications are only generated for the first download. However if one quits one's browser and tries the same download again, another set of download email notifications is generated. In the past, these emails were generated every time a file was downloaded. Note that if a file is downloaded from a url in an email, no email will be generated if the same file is downloaded from the MyFiles table during the same browser session. As an aside, if there are two file recipients, who are each issued with a separate download url, the download notification emails are generated for both recipients for each of their first downloads, but also not for their subsequent repeated downloads. Tested with mac OSX 10.6.5, Firefox 3.6.13, Flash 10.1.102.64. Applies to both Flash and Gears.
