The TCS Portal Project will establish and operate a shared web-based portal for the TCS eScience Personal and the TCS Personal certificate services. This portal will have the ability to automatically issue a personal (e-science) certificate to a user after the user has authenticated through a participating AAI federation.  The service will run as a pilot for the duration of the project.

Project duration

The project runs from 1 January 2010 until 30 April 2011 with the intent to continue as a production service after this date.

note: in the near future each participating NREN can have its own NREN-specific URL for each portal.
