Response times

Trouble reporting support is given during business hours 5x8.  Response time is typically within 4 hours.


Support structure

The NREN is responsible for supporting its national Subscribers

The Portal Core team is responsible for supporting NRENs

 

Service availability

There are two portals:

Personal

eScience Personal

Each portal runs on 2 SURFnet virtual machines, in a hot standby setup. 

This results in an availability promise of 99.81% (about 9 hours of unscheduled downtime/year) on 99.99 infrastructure.
