Portal operations

TERENA has subcontracted operations of the portal to SURFnet.  SURFnet in its turn has outsourced daily operations to  Tilburg University.

TCS Portal Project Review Committee

The TCS Portal Project Review Committee oversees the project's progress and makes official decisions when needed.  A main duty of the Committee is to review the work undertaken by SURFnet under its contract with TERENA. The Committee will also advise TERENA about the acceptance of the progress reports that SURFnet will submit to TERENA. The Committee is also the place where the NRENs participating in the project will aim to agree if and how the pilot service  provided by the project will be succeeded by a production service after April 2011, and what to do with any monies left over at that time.
 
The Committee carries out its work mostly by email, complemented by phone/video meetings when needed.
