Importing from JIRA:

1) Export your Jira issues in XML Format

In a given JIRA project:

1. Go to Issue Navigator
2. Click on the link XML in Current View (or Views in newer versions):
3. Preview the source of the page and save it

2) Import XML into Assembla

In a given Assembla space:

1. Navigate to Tickets → Settings (or add it from Admin → Tools if you don’t have it installed)
2. Choose the XML file in Import tickets from
3. Click on Import from Jira and submit the form
