SupraSphere

SupraSphere is a next-generation web browser focused on research and workflow for the financial services industry. It provides sophisticated tagging and searching capabilities to create dynamic links based on overlapping and intersecting namespaces, helping fund managers find non-correlated investment ideas from the fire hydrant of information flowing through their organizations.

While certainly “Web 2.0” oriented in terms of its features, it is much closer to “Usenet 3.0” with a unique distributed security architecture based on the Secure Remote Password Protocol out of Stanford (SRP) and 3DES for all socket communications.

Furthermore, it is unique in how it integrates numerous communication types, ranging from persistent instant messaging, to distribution lists with real-time confirm receipt, to advanced workflow and sophisticated attention management capabilities that have been proven on the trading floors of multi-billion dollar hedge funds.

Our long-term vision is to create a platform for information-based currency, where different groups can experiment with different currency models, allowing the models that lead to the most efficient communication and retrieval of relevant information to trickle to the top of the collective consciousness through a highly distributed, democratic, and chaordic voting system.
