Wecome to the EsiObjects project. This project and others exist under the umbrella of the Out-of-the-Slipstream organization. The Atmus project is especially important since it will create many of the GT.M resources possibly needed by EsiObjects.

EsiObjects Information

EsiObjects is an evolution of the MUMPS language and database technology. It extends the MUMPS language with the OO syntax, a robust object model, extensive reusability and an efficient, modern IDE. It was designed as a migration path for traditional MUMPS applications. Today, the demands of cloud computing and new emphasis on schemafree databases has given new meaning to this goal. Consequently, we are reinventing this superb Open Source product for a new mission.

Participation in the EsiObjects Project

If you are interested in contributing time and effort to the project, follow these steps to come up to speed.

1. If you want to learn more about the projects purpose and background, go to the background page.
2. If you want to join immediately, simply create an assembla account and then email me and I will make you a member.
3. To get started, follow the instructions on the Getting Started page.
4. Read about the latest project. Understand what the goals and objectives are. Talk to team members and take responsibility for what you want to do.
