    In window case what happens to text - copy to clipboard like tapir?

    I've run out of settings buttons (will address eventually) so do you want the spacing options?

    This needs clarifying.
    Will output window do and if so how does the text get to another program. Is copy to clipboard on accept OK?
    Is it better to send to another window? if so how is what identified. There is a slight danger if a stream of Tech chars are ever interpreted as actions and not text. so perhaps look for a text input window with focus?

    Options:
    Send to Window:
    • Keep text in window.
    • Have print option
    • Optionally, could also copy to clipboard, unlikely to use this though if can send directly to programme...
    Send to Programme:
    • (not copy to clipboard)
    • text sent to window with focus (defined by user clicking on it)
    • maybe check that a window has focus and if not pop up message asking user to click in a window...

    There is going to be issues with scrolling and need an empty command for either user or facilitator.

    Are the print option and clear window content option required by user (keypad access) or facilitator (pointer access)?

    Ideally user, but facilitator is fine for now (and make another ticket for a future version for user access)...

    Notes
    new key bindings:
    - - clear window
    • - print
    / - print settings

    • The print settings is the page setup version - other settings available from this dialog
    • Print dilaog displays, it should not but I can't stop it looks like bug in GTK on Windows. Have enabled enter key to accept (no cancel). Perhaps we could send an enter key.
    • new settings provided for text desitination and printer font.

    Hi,

    Looks good, but, in Dkey window need:
    • Delete all text in window option
    • Print command?

    Can these be added to the R-click menu that appears in the text-bar? Is this easiest?

    I'm not with you. The number pad key bindings are as follows. Keys were used rather than pointer access as the user needs access.

    / page setup / print settings
    • print
    - Clear window

    Oh, this editor is messing up the display. Using key names:

    Divide = page setup
    Multiply = print
    Subtract = clear window
