Assembla.com, a rapidly growing online service for software teams, is seeking a customer service representative to handle inquiries, relations with the online community, and related sales leads.

  • Read and answer customer emails
  • Handle customer phone calls and respond directly, or find the correct person to provide service.
  • Define and test improvements to the product to respond to customer issues.
  • Answer pre-sales questions
  • Handle customer requests for subscription packages and installed packages. Close sales and earn commissions.

Requirements: skills, experience, and availability
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communicator with writing skills
  • Good understanding of computer software
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Experience with software development will be helpful
