I have been working in software development for the past 6 years. I have primarily created internal company web applications with Java or Ruby on Rails. I have experience with most aspects of the development life cycle and have experience with agile development techniques, such as test driven development, behavior driven development, continuous integration servers, and short client feedback loops. I have experience designing databases and have worked with MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server. I am also knowledgeable in SOAP and REST web services. Most of my Ruby on Rails work I have developed has been on my MacBook Pro using TextMate, SQLite 3, Git, and Mongrel as my development environment.
