Dear Assembla,

I am a bright and motivated recent Math & Econ grad from the University of Miami.

I extremely eager about utilizing and developing my programming/coding skills while handling and working with large sets of data. I enjoy the challenge of producing quality technical analysis to make productive contributions to the team. I am well versed in VB, SQL (and several other technologies). I am also gaining a more in-depth knowledge of Javascript and Python in my current intern positions at a couple of IT start-up companies. I have a natural aptitude towards programming languages and I am passionate about using and improving my skills with constant self-learning.

At my current internship at Conductor, the leader in SEO technology, I am constantly processing, manipulating and managing SEO/web analytics data for more than 200 clients. I create different types of Financial/Success/Usability dashboards with this data and customize it further to produce an analysis that is both, client-facing and accessible for use in key business decisions.

In the past, I spent a great majority of my time in college manipulating and managing analytics data in my Econometrics & Statistics courses as well as at my internships, while writing programs in C++ and Java for very large data sets (often related to country-wide population demographics) that I also managed/manipulated on R, MATLAB, SPSS etc.

For the past few months, I have been working directly with the Solutions Engineers at Conductor and coordinating project management focused on client-facing software integration. I am also the point person in assisting with systems integrations in our web-based software app to that of our new partner, Adobe Omniture. I manage a lot of database integrations using SQL and run complex queries to pick out key stats that would affect our clients’ business decisions the most.

In addition to that, I am also an intern at a cloud-computing start-up, called SkedgeMe helping with QA, market research, and code authentication for mobile/web-based app development.

I genuinely think I would be a great fit for your team and provide great support in an analytical role. I would be really grateful if you could consider my attached resume.

Any opportunity to be a part of your team would be extremely valuable to me.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

—
