I have been passionate about and actively using social media for years – long before Twitter and Facebook hit the scene. My experience began with email marketing, podcasting and discussion forums back around 2002, but my passion for connecting with and engaging others in such a way has continued to this day and I am active on Facebook, Twitter, Typepad, Wordpress, Ning, etc.

What sets me apart from many of the candidates that you’ll locate is that I also bring more than 10 years of business experience to the table. My career began years ago in technical support (which means that I am comfortable working with more technical topics) and I have been working over the past couple to transition into a marketing role. Towards that end, I have been operating my own marketing consulting company for just over a year now, successfully serving small, local clients as they try to embrace the online world.

In terms of your specific application questions, I am available to start immediately at a rate of $30/hour. That said, I do hope that we’ll have the chance to talk in greater detail about my background and your needs in the next bit here.
