I am responding to the advertisement I received in an email from CyberCoders for a Web Marketing Director position with Assembla. I have worked in marketing and sales/business development specifically via the online channel for much of my career. After reading the posting I feel I am a strong candidate for this role.

I have expertise working with selling software specific experience in the small business market selling technology products to B2C and B2B audiences online. I am very comfortable both strategically developing a communications plan as well as tactically implementing the plan. I have expertise in the areas of driving revenue and customer growth as well as partner on-boarding and partner development efforts. My experience gives me the proven record to effectively manage customer acquisition programs over a broad range of channels. Having worked in many start-up environments I have had to be the person to do many different functions including copywriting, web design, and developing community content both in the form of blogs and microsites as well as external tools like Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter. I am not a theoretical marketer. I am very used to the high pressure environment of sales and being accountable to expectations.

In addition I also possess strong management, communication, and administrative skills. My broad experience in technology marketing makes me an excellent candidate for this position.
