  • Detailed, Follow Directions, patient, Experience in Communicating in different forms, Loyal, Willing to Learn, Hard Worker, Trustworthy, XML Coding

I have worked for an online education company, Education 2020(E2020) for about 3 years. Two of those three years were as an independent contractor. In the first year of working for E2020 I learned how to fix mistakes in the online math problems by correcting the XML coding. My knowledge in programming is not that extensive, however, I am willing to learn and work hard at what I am given. That first year also consisted of reviewing new lectures and courses to make sure there were no mistakes and errors. I would have a spreadsheet that guided me through as to what to look for as well as places to put my comments and advice. This was easy for me to do, since I am very detailed oriented.
Communication is very important for any business. As a teacher I had to communicate the same topic many different ways to reach all my students. When working for E2020, I had to communicate explanations efficiently across the phone and email. I was part of a team and also had to communicate effectively with them in planning and arranging the curriculum.
As an independent contractor for E2020, I needed to keep myself organized. That is why I developed my own checklist of what was required of me in order to successfully create a customized course. This skill was also developed in teaching when designing curriculum. Therefore, the skill of developing plans and following them can be applied to many areas.
In conclusion, as you can see, I am very qualified to keep working for E2020 and was a loyal team member. However, they no longer want any contract positions and so I offer my skills and loyalty to your company.
