My name is Janis and I have worked virtually for companies in the US specializing in web-based program development. I’ve had experience overseeing the full life cycle of software development as a project manager, and was Department Head of Account/Project Management for 2 years. As a PM/AM, I resolve client’s problems on a daily basis via a Vonage line, a Go To Meeting session and/or a timely response via email. I also spearhead projects and act as the interface between the client and the production team.

I’ve headed projects with developers and multimedia artists of diverse background. I was in charge of drafting the requirements write-up based on customer specifications and a thorough analysis of their true needs. From there, I prepared business agreements, maintaining constant communication with the end client and the production team. I was also in charge of beta testing, as the best person to know how the program should work, and I oversaw the debugging process until the product is ready for client scrutiny.

As the Department Head for two years, I’ve also trained 9-11 Account and Project Managers from the Philippines and Argentina.
