I’ve been doing Rails development for about 3 years, and non-Rails web development since HTML 2.0 (when client-side image maps were all the rage, ie. 1996). I’m skilled at every level of a web application’s stack—from the arcane intricacies of HTTP, *nix, and SQL to UI design, JavaScript, and XHTML/CSS. I’ve also done quite a bit of project management over the last couple years, and know what it takes to get a development team to bring a high-quality product to market.
