I work with clients to build systems that solve business problems. Most of my work involves a relational database (Oracle, SQLServer, Postgres, MySQL, Ingres, etc). I have extensive experience in creating applications from requirements through moving them into production. I specialize in using Java in the middle-tier and have written a fair amount of Java UI code. I have done web-based front-ends with the current technologies (CSS,AJAX,JSP/GSP). I also have helped many clients get their applications to run faster. I do performance tuning and performance testing to help them.
