Since 2001 I’ve remotely managed several Unix (HP-UX) & Linux (web)servers, located in Cupertino, outside London UK, Belgium, Australia, running Apache, MySQL & Postgres, Perl, PHP & Python. I debugged and solved problems, provided fast workarounds.
I’ve achieved a very good satisfaction rate with both the users & mgmt.
I frequently supported users in Japan & Australia way into the night on the West Coast (I’m in Portland, Oregon).
I highly enjoy shell scripting & Perl.
