In social media, content is king, and I have extensive experience developing interactive content using SEO strategies, authoritative information and excellent writing skills. Once the content is developed, I’m a whiz at promoting it, and getting your audience to promote it as well using social media best practices.

Even before “social media” was the buzz phrase, I was involved in “new media” – making Web content interactive through community at America Online. The skills I learned there led me to pioneer the Twitter activities for the entire Verizon organization, launching the first account – @HeadlinesVZ. I grew the account organically, with no budget or marketing support, to nearly 15,000 clicks per month on posted content, and over 2700 actively engaged followers, also converting Verizon detractors into Verizon promoters. With my success, I was asked to teach Social Media 101 sessions to share best practices and techniques to other lines of business, assist in the corporate social media policies and procedures, and strategize and implement other social media projects.
