For open source and community projects. Free public workspaces are visible to all internet users and web crawlers. They do not have encryption or email and phone support. They can include any number of users and standard features. Create a free public space
Installed and Custom Software
Price
You can get installed versions of Assembla for your Intranet or for customization and integration. The installed version includes all of the Assembla internal tools, including the wiki, ticketing, repositories, source browsing, other collaboration tools, etc. It's economical and simple because you won't need to pay extra for every feature. It includes technical support and source code with unlimited upgrades. The private installed version is sold with a perpetual license and 20% maintenance charge.

Subscription Information
Monthly Billing
Your account will be billed on the first day of each month. You will not be billed for workspaces that you remove before the end of the month.
Payment Methods
If you submit a credit card, Assembla will bill your card automatically, and you will never experience any restrictions. If you do not submit a credit card, Assembla will send you an email reminding you to pay with Paypal, check, or bank wire. If the bill is not paid in two weeks, Assembla will switch your workspaces to a read-only mode.
SSL encryption is included with all paid subscriptions
Pro Tools
Pro Management tools include the portfolio tool, the branded portfolio tool, the portfolio time reporting tool, and the support tool. Those tools may be available in smaller subscription plans for an additional charge.
Existing Customers
Subscribers who registered for paid subscriptions before May 2009 can keep their $2 metered subscription plan for existing spaces, new users, and new spaces for one year or until they decide to change plans.
