NB
- You must delete your old config file in appdata\dkey before running
- The first time it runs it will fail – just run again
- Settings are accessed by clicking between button (very temporary)
- Update dictionary by editing wordlist.txt and running make_dict.exe
- This is designed for keypad input only, mouse click change focus

Looks great.
1. Dict seems to work well – only wierdness is on buttons 7 and 9 – the others bring up the list of possible words, but 7 just brings up a and 9 i. This might be the tapir method, but it doesn’t do it in oldTapir… ???
2. Adding words works great, compiles word list quickly, so on-fly should be OK!
3. There is a strange window just to the right of the text output – not a big problem, maybe just legacy from Tapir? Thanks steve, looking good.

I even thought it could be done at at startup but may be slow on big dicts like Tapir’s
Would need .dict files then .> There is a strange window just to the right of the text

I decided to leave it.
Is it visible after you delete the config file? -

RE bug: it gets the word eventually, just doesn’t show options in word list…
RE dict – if it is quick, could be at startup. Can try on some massive word lists…
Ah. It isn’t visible – I just noticed the slider to show it! Don’t think we need it if we sort out options properly…

hmm, I’ve missed something about the dictionary format. They are words in their own right and so seem to terminate the list. Will look into it by comparing preferexact.dict
Is it ok for you as is for tomorrow?

preferexact.dict takes around 6 secs on a 3 yr old laptop. Might get slower depending on answer to above.

Agreed,
My problem with getting at options is could not get add menu to work, either manual code or use glade config file
