Tell user that in this prototype, to unfold menu in the menubar, click on 'FileZilla' text at the menu bar. Task description ================ 1. connect to the same server to that most recently a connection was made. >Is top or button considered as most recent? 2. save the aachen.com server to the site manager. > actually naming the server is not possible in the prototype, but hopefully the user will click at the right spot and sense it doesn't work 3. connect to the test server from the site-manager. 4. download 'document1.rtf' from the 'work' folder at the server > Does user know where the document icon is? > After user selected the document, did he click download button immediately? > If he didn't click the download button immediately, what did he do? (right click?, menu?) > Does user found that the downlaod icon is intuitive? > Does user see that the file is downloading? 5. The detail about the download is shown on the screen. Please find on the screen where indicates: - which file is being downloaded - progress of downloading - times remaining until the download finish - where the file is downloaded > Notice wher user find the information from. 6. Since this is a prototype, please click on the blank area at the bottom-right of the window to proceed. 7. Is the download completed? If so, where did you found out? > Notice whether user find the progressbar and green icon to the right userful or not? 8. Now, try downloading 'document2.rtf'. Please tell when you found that the document is downloading. 9. Please cancel the download. Please tell where you found out that the download has been cancelled. > Does user found the cancel button? > Does user notice that the download is cancelled? 10. Now, please download the 'document2.rtf' again. 11. Proceed by clicking at the blank area at the bottom-right. 12. Tell if there is something happened. Proceed by clicking at the blank area at the bottom-right again. > Does user notice that there is a connection error? > Are the yellow progressbar and (!) icon the reason that user know the error? 13. Tell if there is something happened. > Does user found that the download is failed? 14. Now, navigate to the '.Trashes' folder in your computer side. 15. Try downloading 'document2.rtf'. Tell if there is a problem when downloading. > Does user notice that the program can not write at the client side? 16. Disconnect from the server > Does user found the 'disconnect' button on the toolbar? > Interview questions (ask after testing) > ==================== > 1. The program can do synchronize browsing. That is when you navigate a folder on one side, the another side will be navigated accordingly. Is there a toolbar icon for this on the screen? > 2.
