Select a PlanTeam Collaboration

The team collaboration workspace can help you organize your team and keep everyone informed, even if you are not building software. Our customers use it for project planning, board of directors communications, reference and research findings, and many other activities.
Besides the tools listed below, this configuration includes a Team tab where you can manage access and permissions for team members, and a Stream tab where you can view all activity within your space and customize email notifications.
Wiki: A simple wiki to document features, ideas, specifications, or anything else. Edit pages with a WYSIWYG editor, Textile, text or HTML. View changes and restore pages to previous states using page history and rollback.
Messages: Better than email - communicate with team members while keeping a centralized record of all conversations. Post messages from inside Assembla, or by email. Reply to threads, attach files, and customize email notifications.
Files: Store files and Google Docs with descriptions and tags. Search all files that have been uploaded to tickets, messages, wiki pages, and chat sessions. Attached Google Docs are automatically "shared" with all team members.
StandUp Reports: A simple form for team members to report on "what I did," "what I will do," and "needs and obstacles." StandUp reports eliminate the need for conference calls, speed up daily scrum chats, and help team members focus on the most important tasks.
Chat: Assembla’s group chat tool with built-in video helps distributed teams collaborate in real time. Team members can view faces and show each other drawings as they chat. Links to tickets and messages can be embedded in chat sessions. Files shared in chats can be found later with the Files tool.
We provide preconfigured spaces for your convenience. However, you can add or remove tools from any space, and change the configuration
