Github with Integrated Tickets

Add Assembla Tickets and event management to your Github repository.  It's great for open source projects, because public projects are free.  And, it's a powerful management tool for private commercial projects.  This configuration will help your team be smooth and efficient because of the polished integration between the code repository, the ticketing system, and the stream of activity alerts.

The Assembla Github tool accepts commit messages from your Github repository, attaches them to your Assembla tickets, and feeds them into your alert stream.  You will find configuration instructions under the Github tab.

The Assembla Integrated Ticket Tool is a simple but powerful system for keeping track of tasks, features, and bugs. It includes many easy-to-use capabilities like:

  • Milestones / Iterations
  • Comment threads
  • Email alerts, RSS feeds, and Stream views keep you fully informed in real time
  • Link to code changesets and update with code comments

  • Full text search of tickets
  • Custom fields
  • Custom reports
  • Screen Capture Applet - quickly grab a screen and attach it to a bug report or request
